SELF CATERED ACCOMMODATION – BREAKFAST & DINNER OPTIONS 

 

The vendeghaz is our 100 year old lodge which we have reconfigured to provide comfy accommodation to those that love nature and being in nature but are not drawn the the camping lifestyle.  We kept the decor in keeping with the traditional hungarian style but given it our own twist.  The walls in the lodge are built really thick from loam (mud), it was an old building technique used to moderate the extreme temperatures of summer and winter.  Each unit is accessed from a central reception area, which you will find tea and coffee facilities and a small seating area.

DOG RULES

WE CONSIDER SMALL DOGS ON REQUEST IN THE APARTMENT ONLY  –  ONE -OFF CHARGE 10 EUROS

Dogs are not allowed on the furniture

Dogs should be kept on a leash when on the retreat.

Dogs should not be left in the apartment alone.

There are walks directly from the retreat but there is no enclosed space for a dog to be off lead on site

Whilst there is no swimming pool at the campsite, you can cool off in our pond with a waterfall, visit a private fishing lake within a 20-minute stroll, or borrow one of our bikes. Two thermal spas are a short 20-minute drive away, one accessible by public transport, known for their health benefits discussed online and by guests.

    • Love walking? We are directly on the Koppany Valley trails in southern Transdanubia, nestled in the heart of Koppanyszanto, Hungary. Surrounded by the enchanting landscapes of Koppányvölgy Nature Park, immerse yourself in the charm of our forest, where traditional wine press houses line the vineyards, and enjoy the sweet buzz of the local apiary.
    • 2 hours from Budapest, or 1 hour by train for a day trip. The nearest station is Pincehely, a 25-minute drive away.
Very very good place to hang out and chill out and settle your mind for a couple of days!  This place is a really nice and easygoing place to hang out for a few days and chill. The hosts Mark and Debbie really take care of you and give you a high quality time to enjoy the stay. The breakfast is very good and you can choose from a list of items. The rooms and other facilities are very clean and also give a nice easygoing feeling as well. There is a possibility to dine at the terrace and drink something at the bar as well.
