The Rose Room – A Rest Between Journeys
Designed for one and two-night stays, The Rose Room is ideal for walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists and travellers exploring Hungary. You’ll find a peaceful place to rest, enjoy a hot shower. Built within our traditional country lodge, the Rose Room features thick loam walls that naturally help keep the room cool during the warmer months. As with many older Hungarian buildings, the room has no external windows, creating a wonderfully dark, quiet space that many guests tell us gives them one of the best night’s sleeps of their trip, need a breeze, don’t worry we added a ceiling fan. Because every journey deserves a place to pause. Use of communal reception lounge and outside camper’s kitchen. Breakfast is not included, but can be booked separately at The Nook from 3,500 huf.

Bluebird Apartment – Stay a little longer
The Bluebird Apartment is for guests who would like a little more space, privacy and independence during their stay. With its own kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom, it gives you the freedom to settle in, cook when you wish, read for an afternoon, or explore the Koppány Valley at your own pace. Perfect for couples or solo travellers wanting a quieter stay with the comfort of having everything to themselves.
Breakfast is not included, but can be booked separately at The Nook. Small dogs welcome on request (one-off €10 charge).

Exclusive use includes the Bluebird Apartment, the Rose Room, the morning room, kitchen, coffee and reading area, and shared indoor spaces. Sleeping up to six adults, it is ideal for small groups who want time together without rushing — shared breakfasts, slow evenings, space to spread out, and the freedom to enjoy the lodge at your own pace. The thick traditional loam walls help keep the building naturally cool through the Hungarian summer.

Our furnished bell tents offer proper beds, cosy bedding, outdoor seating, a firepit and breakfast served each morning at The Nook.
Wake to birdsong, spend your evenings beneath dark skies, and enjoy the simple pleasure of sleeping closer to nature.
Showers and toilets are in the main building, a short walk away. Guests also have access to the camper kitchen for occasional use, but our bell tents are offered as B&B accommodation rather than self-catering units.

Tranquility Bell Tent

Tranquility is our larger bell tent, designed for two to four adults.
Spacious and flexible, it can be arranged as four single beds, two double beds, or one double and two single beds.
It is ideal for friends, walking groups, cycling companions or guests who want to share the experience of sleeping closer to nature while still enjoying proper beds, breakfast at The Nook and peaceful evenings beneath the stars.

Peace Bell Tent
Romance Beneath the Stars
Peace is our smaller off-grid bell tent, designed for two adults.
Set in a quieter wildflower meadow, it offers a romantic, simple and peaceful way to experience the Koppány Valley.
A proper double bed, linen, outdoor seating and a firepit create the feeling of camping, with the comfort of a restful night’s sleep and breakfast waiting at The Nook in the morning.

AMENITIES
We have no swimming pool, you can relax at our pond with it’s own waterfall and relaxation area. Offsite visit a private fishing lake within a 20-minute stroll, or borrow one of our bikes. Two thermal spas are a short 20-minute drive away — one is also reachable by public transport. Guests regularly tell us a trip to the baths is one of the highlights of their stay.

Relaxed, peaceful stay in rural Hungary with wonderful hosts. Had all the facilities we might need.
Very lovingly furnished farmhouse with use of the garden. The garden offers a variety of seating options, hammocks and deck chairs for eating and relaxing. The hosts speak English and create a particularly pleasant atmosphere.
