The Nook Pantry Bar is open 24 hours a day, our self-serve pantry bar offers tea, bean-to-cup coffee, cold drinks and a selection of alcohol and treats whenever you fancy a little refreshment. With the wi-fi available for free, it’s a great place to home office!
The Nook is also the hub for our Rooted Experiences, a place to discover and create.
What is a Falusi Vendégasztal?
Falusi Vendégasztal literally means “Village Guest Table.”
It’s a traditional form of Hungarian rural hospitality where guests are welcomed to gather around the host’s table and enjoy homemade food prepared using local, seasonal ingredients. Unlike a restaurant, the experience is personal and relaxed. Meals are prepared in advance using using recipes handed down through generations, ingredients from local producers or the surrounding countryside, and are often cooked over fire or in traditional ovens. Guests share one table, enjoy conversation, discover regional flavours and experience the warmth of genuine Hungarian hospitality.
At Koppány Pines, we’re proud to continue this tradition through our shared tables and seasonal gatherings, bringing together travellers and locals to enjoy good food, good company and the slower rhythms of village life.
Every region has its own flavours. From local wines and honey to seasonal produce and village recipes, these experiences celebrate the people, producers and traditions that make this part of Hungary so special.
