Rooted Experiences

Fire. Food. Fire. Tradition.

Rooted Experiences are inspired by the traditions of rural Hungary and the changing seasons of the Koppány Valley. Throughout the year we explore herbs, edible flowers, wood-fired cooking, traditional skills and the simple pleasure of making things by hand. At Koppány Pines, our experiences grow from the traditions, flavours and slower rhythms of rural Hungary.

Some invite you to explore.

Some encourage you to make.

Others simply bring people together around good food, conversation and the warmth of a fire.

Every experience is seasonal, and many are available for private groups or by prior arrangement during your stay. Some are held on selected dates throughout the year, while others can be organised just for you. We’d love to share a little of the Koppány Valley with you.

Whether you’re staying for a night or joining us for an afternoon, every Rooted Experience is designed to help you Escape the Noise.
