A Pause in the Valley
Gatherings for Women — Koppány Pines, 2027
You already know you need to stop.
Not a holiday. Not another thing to plan and optimise and recover from. Something quieter than that. A few days where the pace is set by the valley, not your inbox. Where the most demanding decision is whether to sit by the fire or take a slow walk through the trees.
That’s what a gathering at Koppány Pines is.
Small groups of women. A few days in rural Hungary. The Three Rhythms of Rewild with Hygge, lived rather than explained. No performance required. No outcomes to achieve. Just enough space to become quiet enough to hear yourself again.
Four gatherings a year. Each one shaped by a season.

🌱 Earth — May Stability — Grounding — Coming back to yourself |
|
The valley in May is full and green and unhurried. This is the gathering for women who have been running for too long and need to feel solid ground under their feet again. You’ll walk in the forest, hands in soil, feet on roots. You’ll forage the early hedgerow. You’ll sit around the fire in the evening with other women who understand the particular exhaustion of never quite switching off. You won’t be asked to share anything you don’t want to share. |
|
🍃 Air — June Clarity — Breathing space — The view from further back |
|
June is long days and early mornings and the kind of light that makes everything feel possible. This gathering is for women who are not burned out exactly, but foggy — carrying too many thoughts, too many open loops, too much noise. There is journaling. There are unhurried conversations. There is a great deal of sitting outside doing nothing in particular and finding that this is, in fact, exactly what was needed. |
|
🌊 Water — August Flow — Softness — Letting things settle |
| High summer in the valley. Warm evenings, cold water from the spring, the sound of everything slowing down toward autumn. This is the gathering for women who need to release rather than achieve — who are carrying something they’ve been unable to put down. There are no wild swims unless you want them. There is herbal tea made from things found that morning. There is candlelight and unhurried meals and the specific comfort of being around women who are not competing with you. |
|
🔥 Fire — October Warmth — Creativity — The spark that comes before winter |
|
October in Hungary smells of woodsmoke and wet leaves and something turning. This is the gathering for the tail end of the year, when the dark comes earlier and there is a particular pleasure in gathering around fire with other people. This is where the Quiet Work comes alive — spoon whittling, foraging the last of the season, making things with your hands by firelight. The valley in October is extraordinary. You’ll want to come back. |
What a few days in the valley feels like
Not a schedule. Just a sense of the rhythm.
| Time of day | The feeling |
| Mornings | Slow. Tea before anything else. A gentle walk or a long sit with your journal, depending on what your body asks for. Breakfast made from things in season. No alarms. |
| Daytime | A mix of being led somewhere (a forest walk, a foraging session, making something with your hands) and being left entirely alone. Both are given equal weight. |
| Afternoons | This is where the Quiet Work lives. Unhurried, tactile, low-stakes. A pot of something on the fire. Wool. Wood. Herbs drying in the kitchen. The specific contentment of a task that asks nothing of your brain. |
| Evenings | Around the fire. Good food made together or served simply. Conversation that goes somewhere, or doesn’t, and both are fine. The valley gets very dark at night. The stars are extraordinary. |
| All of it | Optional. Every single activity is optional. There is always a quiet corner, a hammock, a book. You will never be the only one who needed to step away. |
Who this is for ?
Women who are overstimulated, burned out, or simply tired in a way that a weekend away hasn’t been touching.
Women who are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or just done with environments that move too fast and ask too much.
Women who don’t want to be fixed, facilitated, or transformed. Who just need a few days somewhere genuinely quiet, with other women who understand.
The gatherings are small — never more than eight women. Sensory-aware throughout. No pressure to share, perform, or participate in anything that doesn’t feel right.
The gatherings open in 2027
If you’ve found your way here, you’re already the kind of woman this is for.
We’ll write to you when dates are confirmed — a quiet email, no pressure, just the details you need to decide if the timing is right. That’s all.
No newsletters. No marketing sequences. Just one email when the doors open.
Until then, the journal is here.
Written from the valley, week by week.
